Something different...

Today, I will not talk about love or sorrow, but of the future and what it may be.I feel to represent it in this poem:

"Tomorrow"

Today, I see people minding their own buissness.
People who are uncaring of their surroundings.
It makes me think of what tomorrow could be like.

Tomorrow may be the same as today, the same grey sky, toxic air, and littered grounds.
It may be the same schedule for the day.
It may be the same people you hang out with.
But it could be something otherwise.

Tomorrow could hold a better future for the next generation.
Tomorrow, we may behold flying cars and tube transportation.
Tomorrow, we may see equality in living conditions among all.
Tomorrow, we may see a brighter future.

But tomorrow may as well be an illusion.
One that is brought about by confusion.

Tomorrow may be mounds of litter.
Tomorrow may be the human race struggling to survive.
Tomorrow may be a world of red sky and inhospitable land.
Tomorrow may be hell as we know it.

Tomorrow is a shoddy card for us humans to play,
but in the right hands, and the proper vision, tomorrow may be a haven. A haven for us all to live and thrive as one human race.

And now I ask, what will happen tomorrow?

Fifth!

"Infinity"

The plans I had made, you said you would always oblige.
I waited for you, it took hours away from my schedule.
But it was all worth it. In the end you always came.
In the end, you always broke infinity.

Fourth Times the Charm

Here's peice #4:

"The Fall"

An angel falling, that was you,
I saw you there, in the sky.
Ever so gently, you fell from grace.
That smile of joy on your face.
I cannot take it anymore.
Therefore, I close my eyes and fall.

Third post today...

I'm feeling sorrow in myself today therefore, I present this poem today :

"Tears"

The tear — it is the rendition of joy.
Yet, the tear may also connote joy.
How thus is done, I may never know.
I feel as if, in the bank of human emotion, the tear is but the most of these.

The tear — a mysterious object, can indicate sadness in people ; as it did with you.
I saw tears fall from your eye on that night, it was with sadness.
Tell me, my dear sweet, why was it so?
Why were your tears filled with sorrow?

Second Entry Today...

Here's my second entry of the day:

"As the Music Plays"

I look back to when I was but a child.
I could see my grandfather dance away to beautiful sounds
from what I thought was the ethereal plane.

And now I look to you. Spending this moment like my last.

Because, when I am with you, it is that very music that plays.
Because, whenever I am in your presence,it is that very music playing.
Because, when I gaze into your eyes of purity, the very music plays.
Whenever I am away, but thinking of you, it is that very music playing.

I asked dear old grandad once what music was.
He said to me:"Music is what you want it to be."
So, as far as the beautiful music is concerned, to me, music is you in all your forms.

Music is beauty, and that beauty is you. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Ideas for a Compilation

As I have not written anything yet, this shall be my first poem.

It is entitled "Singular Passions"

"Singular Passions"

Trapped beneath this one way river
Wishing it would dry up
Or flow two ways at once
To push me to the surface, out of this trapping cup

Her eyes
Two emeralds beaming with intelligence, and beauty, and traits that will trap men
Her smile a sunrise
Most of her beauty lies within

These arrows, my heart they pierce
What a beautiful rosé she is
This river, she is something fierce
Can't say ill ever be out of this

This river, watering this beautiful rosé
No one knows where it goes
Lying on these shoals
My heart pierced with arrows

And then the near passions,
our hearts have no more questions.

Let me know what you think.
